Rosie Huntington Whiteley (born in England) is an English model and businesswoman. Her fame was boosted after being cast as the female lead of the Transformers film series. She went to appear in numerous other movies such as Mad Max: Fury Road and The Meg. Victoria's Secret, a well-known American company that designs and distributes women's underwear cosmetics, and women's clothing is where she made her name. Her work for Burberry which is a British brand of fashion, is well-known as she was the face of Burberry Body fragrance. In the following years, she started acting in the American scifi-action film Transformers Dark of the Moon. It was the third installment in the Transformers film franchise. The film was a huge commercial success and earned more than $1 billion. The film received nominations multiple times for Oscars. Another few years went by before she was cast in Mad Max Fury Road, an action movie. It was the popularity of this film that allowed her to successfully transition into an acting career after being a model. In her career so far she's been awarded numerous awards such as being named the Elle Style Award Model of the Year Award in 2009 and The Harper Bazaar Women of the Year Award for Model of the Year as well as Businesswoman of the Year for the years 2014 and 2016, and 2016 respectively. Forbes magazine has also ranked her as one of the most popular models worldwide.
